When you register with filmlondon.org.uk we ask you to enter contact details. We may use the information you submit to the site to contact you about developments with either site or Film London Directory.

3.2 Newsletter sign-ups
Film London offers the opportunity to sign up for a range of newsletters. Contact information entered when subscribing will be used to send you your selected newsletter.
The information provided will not be passed on to any third party. If you sign up for any of our newsletters and subsequently change your mind, you may opt out at any time or unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of all newsletters you receive from us.
3.3 Information entered through a survey
Contact information asked for as part of any Film London online survey may be used to get in touch with you about the survey.
This information may also be used to inform future promotional strategies.
3.4. Information entered for competitions
From time to time, we may run competitions on our Websites. As part of these competitions, we ask you to provide contact information.

Our Websites work on an ‘opt-in’ basis whereby we do not send you any promotional/marketing information from our partners or from us unless you ‘opt-in’ when entering your contact details.

6. Third Party Service Providers
Film London may share your information with third party service providers in order to deliver our services. Film London uses the following third party service suppliers to provide and support our services, such as delivering newsletters and organising events:

Film London uses MailChimp to deliver our newsletters to you. Although MailChimp is an American organisation, it has EU/US Privacy Shield Certification, which provides appropriate safeguards to individuals’ personal data.

The Websites have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control. They are firewall-protected, and servers are stored in a protected room.

Any access request may be subject to a fee of up to £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
